FAS–41BB Switch Receptor (FAS–41BB IFP)

Target
FAS–41BB IFP
Molecular classification
Fusion Protein, Chimeric Receptor, Immunomodulatory Fusion Protein (IFP)
01

Overview

The FAS–41BB switch receptor is a synthetic immunomodulatory fusion protein designed to enhance the function and persistence of adoptively transferred T cells. It combines the extracellular domain of Fas (CD95) with the intracellular signaling domain of 4-1BB (CD137). By binding to FasL in the tumor microenvironment, it converts a pro-apoptotic signal into a pro-survival and costimulatory signal, boosting T cell effector functions and overcoming tumor-induced immunosuppression.
