Overview

FAS-associated factor 1 (FAF1) is a protein that regulates apoptosis, protein degradation, and immune responses. It interacts with the FAS receptor to enhance apoptosis and also participates in ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. It has been implicated in tumorigenesis and Joubert Syndrome.
