Target intelligence / Profile preview
FAT atypical cadherin 1 pseudogene 1 (FAT1P1) is a processed pseudogene in humans. Pseudogenes resemble functional genes but harbor mutations that prevent expression of a functional protein product. The FAT1P1 pseudogene shows sequence similarity to the functional FAT1 gene but is not known to be expressed or to encode a protein[1][5]. No disease relevance, druggability, or established regulatory function has been reported in the available scientific literature.
