Target intelligence / Profile preview
Fatty acyl-CoA reductase 2 pseudogene 3 (FAR2P3) is a non-protein-coding pseudogene related to the FAR2 gene, located on chromosome 2. It does not encode an enzyme or functional protein and has no known biological activity, therapeutic relevance, or drug interactions. FAR2P3 only shares sequence similarity with the functional FAR2 gene, which is involved in fatty alcohol biosynthesis, but it itself is not expressed or active[5][4][9].
