Target intelligence / Profile preview
Fc gamma receptor Ib pseudogene (FCGR1BP) belongs to the family of high-affinity Fc gamma receptors, but unlike its relatives, it is a pseudogene believed to encode a non-functional protein. It may bind the Fc region of immunoglobulin G (IgG) with low affinity, but is not detectable at the cell surface and is not considered functionally active. FCGR1BP is associated with some immune-related diseases but is not a direct therapeutic target[1][2][3][7].
