Ferritin light chain pseudogene 18 (FTLP18) is classified as a pseudogene, meaning it is a DNA sequence similar to a known functional gene (in this case, ferritin light chain) but is not believed to encode a functional protein product[1][2][4]. No drugs or clinical biomarkers are known to interact with FTLP18, nor does it have a recognized role in human disease or biology. In summary, FTLP18 is not a therapeutic target, not a functional receptor, enzyme, transporter, or protein, and does not possess the typical data fields associated with druggable targets, biomarkers, or disease pathways. It is a noncoding pseudogene without known biological or clinical utility[2][4].
