Target intelligence / Profile preview
FGR (Fgr proto-oncogene, Src family tyrosine kinase) is a non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase and a member of the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases. It plays roles in immune cell signaling, regulating immune responses in neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, and mast cells. FGR modulates cytoskeleton remodeling, phagocytosis, cell adhesion/migration, and is involved in IgE-mediated anaphylaxis. Overexpression or dysregulation may contribute to oncogenic processes or immune dysfunctions.
