FGFR3P6, or Fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 pseudogene 6, is classified as a pseudogene and does not encode a functional receptor or protein product. Pseudogenes are gene sequences that resemble functional genes but have lost their protein-coding ability through mutations or deletions. There is no evidence in current biomedical literature that FGFR3P6 provides a direct biological function, has a role in disease, or is druggable as a therapeutic target. It is distinct from the functional fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3), which is a well-characterized receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in cancer and skeletal disorders. No established molecular function, disease associations, drug interactions, or clinical biomarker roles have been found for FGFR3P6.
