Fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) are a family of receptor tyrosine kinases that play essential roles in cell signaling, development, and disease. "Pan-FGFR" refers to agents or analyses that target or consider all four main FGFR family members: FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3, and FGFR4. Dysregulation of FGFR signaling is implicated in various cancers, making them a therapeutic target. Pan-FGFR inhibitors show efficacy against tumors harboring activating genomic changes but may be associated with resistance mechanisms.
