Overview

Fibrous sheath CABYR-binding protein (FSCB) is a testis- and sperm-specific protein that enables calcium ion binding, is involved in negative regulation of protein sumoylation, and is believed to function in the later stages of fibrous sheath biogenesis and spermatozoa capacitation, localizing to the sperm fibrous sheath and sperm principal piece[1][2][3][4][6]. There is no established role for FSCB as a therapeutic or diagnostic target, nor are there any known interacting drugs or mechanisms of action related to pharmacology.
