Target intelligence / Profile preview
FL2, or Fidgetin-like 2, is a microtubule-severing enzyme that regulates cytoskeletal dynamics. It acts as a negative regulator of axon regeneration and cell migration by severing dynamic microtubules, particularly at the cell cortex and leading edge. Depletion of FL2 has shown promise in promoting nerve regeneration after injury and enhancing wound healing.
