Target intelligence / Profile preview
FKBP8 antisense RNA 1 (FKBP8-AS1) is a novel antisense noncoding RNA transcript located on the opposite DNA strand of the FKBP8 gene. Its molecular function, involvement in biological processes, possible disease links, and potential as a therapeutic or diagnostic target have not been characterized. Most available research focuses on the FKBP8 protein, which is known for its role in apoptosis regulation, neural development, and disease, but there is no evidence that FKBP8-AS1 performs similar or related functions.
