FMO10P is a pseudogene in the flavin-containing monooxygenase (FMO) gene family. While FMOs are a group of enzymes involved in the oxidation of xenobiotics, drugs, and endogenous amines using FAD (flavin adenine dinucleotide) as a cofactor[3][1], FMO10P lacks the ability to produce a functional monooxygenase protein. Therefore, it does not participate in any established monooxygenase activity, drug metabolism, or physiological process. No disease associations, functional roles, or therapeutic applications are described for FMO10P. It is not a druggable target. FMO10P is a non-functional pseudogene related by homology to the FMO family of enzymes but has no established protein product, biological function, disease relevance, or drug interactions, and should not be considered a molecular target.
