Fluke β-tubulin is a beta subunit of the tubulin protein found in parasitic flukes, such as *Fasciola hepatica*. It forms heterodimers with α-tubulin to assemble into microtubules, which are crucial for cell structure, intracellular transport, and cell division. Different β-tubulin isotypes exist and are expressed in specific tissues and life cycle stages. It is a primary target of benzimidazole anthelmintics. Mutations in key residues involved in drug binding can confer drug resistance.
