Target intelligence / Profile preview
FMS-like tyrosine kinase receptor (CSF1R), also known as FMS or CD115, is a tyrosine kinase transmembrane receptor belonging to the CSF1/PDGF receptor family. It plays a crucial role in the development and function of macrophages and other myeloid cells. Activation by its ligands, colony-stimulating factor 1 (CSF-1) and interleukin-34 (IL-34), promotes cell survival, differentiation, and migration. It is implicated in various diseases, including cancers and inflammatory conditions.
