Target intelligence / Profile preview
FN1 divergent transcript (FN1-DT) is a long non-coding RNA situated close to the fibronectin 1 (FN1) gene, transcribed in the opposite direction. Divergent transcripts such as FN1-DT are defined as non-coding RNAs within hundreds of nucleotides of protein-coding genes, but currently there are no reports of direct biological function, therapeutic targeting, or disease relevance specific to FN1-DT itself. Most research on FN1 and disease focuses on protein-coding transcripts and their functional isoforms, rather than on divergent transcripts[1][4][5].
