Forkhead box protein D4-like 6 (FOXD4L6) is a human transcription factor belonging to the forkhead box (FOX) protein family, characterized by a conserved winged-helix DNA-binding domain. It is predicted to regulate transcription by RNA polymerase II and is involved in anatomical structure morphogenesis and cell differentiation. FOXD4L6 is not currently considered a classical therapeutic target. Diseases associated with this gene include chondroid chordoma and Usher syndrome type IIa. FOXD4L6 is classified as a DNA-binding transcription factor and does not have established roles as a biomarker or interact directly with drugs[1][2][3][4][5][12].
