Frizzled class receptor 7 (FZD7) is a member of the frizzled gene family, encoding a seven-transmembrane domain receptor primarily functioning as a cell surface receptor for Wnt signaling proteins. It plays crucial roles in embryonic development, cell polarity, neural synapse formation, stem cell maintenance, and is frequently upregulated in several cancers including colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and triple-negative breast cancer.
