Target intelligence / Profile preview
FZD10 is a receptor for Wnt proteins, primarily functioning in the canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. Upon ligand binding, it forms complexes with co-receptors like LRP5/6, stabilizing β-catenin and regulating gene transcription involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, and development. It is expressed in various tissues during embryogenesis and adulthood, and its upregulation has been observed in certain cancers, including colon cancer and synovial sarcomas.
Wnt ligand binding prevents β-catenin degradation leading to nuclear translocation and target gene activation.
