FRMD6 antisense RNA 2 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) transcribed from the antisense strand of the FRMD6 gene locus on chromosome 14[3][7]. It does not encode a protein and is classified as an lncRNA of the antisense subtype. FRMD6-AS2 is associated with a small set of cancers, including malignant struma ovarii and ovarian germ cell teratoma[3].
