FRMPD3 antisense RNA 1 (FRMPD3-AS1)

FRMPD3 antisense RNA 1 (FRMPD3-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) whose sequence is antisense to the FRMPD3 gene. To the best of current knowledge, it does not encode a protein. It is transcribed from the antisense strand of the FRMPD3 gene locus. Its exact function, biological role, and disease relevance remain poorly characterized. Unlike protein-coding genes or well-established therapeutic targets, FRMPD3-AS1 is not currently classified as a receptor, enzyme, or direct drug target.
