Target intelligence / Profile preview
Fucosyl-GM1 is a glycosphingolipid, specifically a monosialylated ganglioside with an α1,2-fucosylated galactose. It exhibits minimal expression in most healthy tissues but is highly prevalent in certain tumors, especially small cell lung cancer (SCLC), making it a tumor marker and an immunotherapy target. It can also be targeted by autoantibodies in autoimmune neuropathies.
Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC)
