FYN binding protein 1 (FYB1) is a multifunctional adapter protein expressed predominantly in immune cells such as T cells, NK cells, monocytes, and mast cells. It plays a central role in T-cell receptor signaling, linking FYN kinase activity with cytoskeletal reorganization, immune cell adhesion, cytokine production, and platelet activation. FYB1 features multiple protein interaction domains and functions as a scaffold in complexes regulating actin dynamics, integrin-mediated signaling, and immune cell activation. Dysregulation of FYB1 is implicated in immune deficiencies and platelet disorders, and its signaling may be altered by pathogenic bacteria or genetic mutations
