Target intelligence / Profile preview
G antigen 10 (GAGE10) is a member of the GAGE family of genes, which encode cancer/testis antigens. These proteins are expressed in a wide variety of tumors but have highly restricted expression in normal tissues, primarily limited to germ cells. GAGE10 is considered an immunogenic protein, making it a potential target for cancer immunotherapy, particularly for identifying or targeting tumors with cancer/testis antigen profiles[1][10]. No well-characterized physiological function has been established, but its selective expression suggests utility as a tumor biomarker and possible therapeutic target for cancer immunotherapy strategies[1][10].
