Target intelligence / Profile preview
G protein-coupled receptor autoantibodies (GPCR-AAs) are endogenous antibodies produced by the immune system that specifically recognize and bind to G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). These autoantibodies can act as modulators of GPCR function, either activating or inhibiting receptor signaling, and are implicated in a variety of autoimmune, cardiovascular, and neurologic diseases.
Allosteric modulation of GPCR signaling (agonistic or antagonistic)
