GNG5P5 is a processed pseudogene found at chromosome locus 13q14.2[1][7][3]. Pseudogenes like GNG5P5 are genetic sequences similar to known genes (in this case, GNG5), but they are non-functional due to mutations or lack of transcriptional activity[7][3][9].
