Overview

The gall bladder is a small, pear-shaped organ located beneath the liver. Its primary function is to store and concentrate bile produced by the liver, releasing it into the small intestine to aid in digestion. It is a site for radiopaque imaging to diagnose diseases such as gallstones, inflammation, tumors, and biliary obstruction.
