Target intelligence / Profile preview
Gamma Fc receptors (FcγRs) are a family of cell surface glycoproteins that bind to the Fc region of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies. They play a central role in linking humoral immunity with cellular immune responses, mediating various effector functions such as phagocytosis, antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), degranulation, and regulation of cytokine production. Dysregulation can contribute to autoimmune diseases due to improper clearance or excessive inflammation.
