Target intelligence / Profile preview
GLRX5 pseudogene 3 (GLRX5P3) is a non-coding pseudogene related to the GLRX5 gene. Pseudogenes are generally considered nonfunctional remnants of protein-coding genes that have lost their protein-coding potential due to mutations or deletions. GLRX5P3 does not produce a protein product and is not involved in physiological or pathological processes as an enzyme, receptor, transporter, or other canonical drug target class. There is no evidence in the scientific literature that GLRX5P3 has any direct biological function or involvement in disease, nor does it interact with drugs or serve as a biomarker.
