Glycoprotein A33 (GPA33) is a cell surface antigen highly expressed in more than 95% of human colon cancers and normal gastrointestinal epithelium. It is a single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, specifically within the CD2 subgroup. It is considered a therapeutic target for antibody-based therapies against colorectal cancer.
