Glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored molecule-like protein (GML) is a low molecular weight cell surface protein that belongs to the Ly-6/uPAR superfamily, characterized by the presence of a single LU domain with conserved cysteine residues. GML is tethered to the cell membrane via a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor.
