Target intelligence / Profile preview
This entry is a pseudogene of the guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit alpha-11 (GNA11), which is a member of the heterotrimeric G protein family. The pseudogene does not encode a functional protein. Functional GNA11 is a G protein alpha subunit involved in transmembrane signaling downstream of cell surface receptors, but the pseudogene itself lacks known biological function or therapeutic relevance. It may be useful for evolutionary or genomic studies but is not a drug target[3].
