Helicobacter pylori DNA comprises the complete genetic material of the bacterium *Helicobacter pylori*, a gram-negative, helical pathogen associated with gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer[2][4]. The *H. pylori* genome is a small, circular chromosome of approximately 1.6–1.7 million base pairs, with most strains containing around 1,500 protein-coding genes[4][3]. Its genomic heterogeneity underlies the bacterium's adaptability and pathogenicity. While drugs do not target "H. pylori DNA" as a single molecular entity, specific DNA sequences serve as the foundation for genetic diagnostics of infection, and some antibiotics disrupt DNA replication or transcription by targeting bacterial enzymes rather than the DNA itself[14].
