Overview
The hepatitis B surface antigen-specific T cell receptor (HBsAg-specific TCR) is a genetically engineered or naturally occurring receptor expressed on the surface of T cells that specifically recognizes peptides derived from the hepatitis B virus (HBV) surface antigen (HBsAg), typically presented by human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecules on infected hepatocytes or tumor cells. These receptors are central to immunotherapeutic strategies targeting chronic HBV infection and HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
