A hepatitis B virus antigen-positive tumor cell is a malignant cell, typically found in the liver (HCC or ICC), that expresses hepatitis B virus antigens, particularly HBsAg, on its surface or within its cytoplasm. These cells are associated with chronic HBV infection and HBV-related cancers. They contribute to oncogenesis and immune evasion and can be targeted by immunotherapies like engineered TCR-T cells.
