The Hepatocellular carcinoma-related putative tumor suppressor pseudogene (ENSG00000216663) is a non-protein-coding DNA sequence with high similarity to a functional gene but incapable of producing a functional protein. It is classified as a pseudogene and has been implicated in regulatory roles in hepatocellular carcinoma, possibly through the competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network, impacting cancer-related pathways such as the p53 signaling pathway.
