Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 10 (HNRNPA1P10) is a human pseudogene derived from the protein-coding HNRNPA1 gene. The HNRNPA1 gene encodes an RNA-binding protein with important roles in RNA metabolism, including alternative splicing, mRNA export, and regulation of gene expression. However, HNRNPA1P10 itself does not encode a functional protein and is not considered a therapeutic target. Pseudogenes like HNRNPA1P10 can sometimes have regulatory functions at the RNA level (e.g., as competitive endogenous RNAs), but there is no direct evidence or published data supporting a role for HNRNPA1P10 in disease, therapy, or molecular pathways. Any functional or disease associations described for "hnRNP A1" or "HNRNPA1" do not apply directly to the pseudogene HNRNPA1P10.
