Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 11 (HNRNPA1P11) is a processed or duplicated pseudogene corresponding to the parental gene HNRNPA1, which encodes the RNA-binding protein hnRNP A1. Pseudogenes like HNRNPA1P11 are typically nonfunctional DNA segments transcribed from ancestral genes and usually lack protein-coding potential. While some pseudogenes exhibit regulatory functions, there is currently no published evidence associating HNRNPA1P11 with a defined regulatory role or disease association. Thus, HNRNPA1P11 is categorized as a genomic pseudogene rather than a pharmacologically relevant target. HNRNPA1P11 is not a protein, enzyme, receptor, transporter, nor a canonical drug target, but a pseudogene entry in the human genome. Some pseudogenes are emerging as gene expression regulators, but no evidence has been published for HNRNPA1P11 specifically. Information for the parental gene HNRNPA1 (not the pseudogene) indicates important biological and disease roles, especially in cancer, but this does not extend to the pseudogene. HNRNPA1P11 is a human pseudogene related to HNRNPA1 with no demonstrated function, disease association, or druggability at present, and is not considered a therapeutic target.

Currently, no direct biological function has been ascribed to HNRNPA1P11 itself.
