Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 13 (HNRNPA1P13) is a pseudogene that shares homology with the HNRNPA1 gene, which encodes a ubiquitously expressed RNA-binding protein involved in mRNA splicing, export, and translation regulation. As a pseudogene, HNRNPA1P13 does not encode a functional protein. Emerging evidence suggests that some pseudogenes can be transcribed and participate in regulatory networks, potentially influencing gene expression or acting as competitive endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs), but no specific regulatory or pathological role has been established for HNRNPA1P13 itself. It should not be considered a canonical drug target or receptor, and there is no evidence of clinical drugs interacting with it.
