Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 26 (HNRNPA1P26) is a pseudogene corresponding to the HNRNPA1 gene, which encodes a protein involved in RNA processing and splicing. However, HNRNPA1P26 itself does not produce a functional protein and is thus not considered a classical therapeutic target such as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or transcription factor. As with many pseudogenes, it may have potential regulatory effects at the RNA level, but there are no validated direct functions, disease associations, or drug interactions explicitly documented for HNRNPA1P26[5].
