Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 30 (HNRNPA1P30) is classified as a processed pseudogene in the human genome. Pseudogenes are gene copies that resemble known genes but have lost their ability to encode functional proteins due to accumulated mutations or lack of necessary regulatory elements. There is no evidence that HNRNPA1P30 produces an active protein product or has a functional role in normal physiology or disease. Consequently, it is not considered a therapeutic target, and there are no known drugs or biomarkers associated with it. The parent gene HNRNPA1 is involved in RNA metabolism and has roles in cancer and cell stress response, but these functions do not extend to the non-coding pseudogene HNRNPA1P30[1][3][5][7]. In summary, HNRNPA1P30 is a non-functional genomic element (pseudogene) and not a druggable molecular target.
