Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 33 (HNRNPA1P33) is a pseudogene in the human genome. Pseudogenes are genetic sequences similar to known genes but are typically non-functional due to mutations or lack of regulatory elements necessary for expression. Unlike functional protein-coding genes, HNRNPA1P33 does not code for a functional protein, and there are no documented biological functions, disease associations, or therapeutic roles for this pseudogene. Its nomenclature is based on its similarity to the functional gene HNRNPA1, which encodes a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, but HNRNPA1P33 itself is not a drug target or receptor and has no known role in disease or therapy.
