Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 pseudogene 49 (HNRNPA1P49) is a processed pseudogene corresponding to the parental gene HNRNPA1, which encodes a multifunctional RNA-binding protein involved in RNA splicing, nuclear-cytoplasmic transport, and regulation of gene expression[1][7]. However, as HNRNPA1P49 is a pseudogene, it does not encode a functional protein, and no evidence currently supports its role as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or a direct participant in known biological pathways or diseases. Pseudogenes can sometimes have regulatory roles at the RNA level, but specific functional or pathological relevance for HNRNPA1P49 has not been established in the current literature[7].
