Overview

Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A3 pseudogene 14 (HNRNPA3P14) is classified as a *pseudogene* in humans and does not encode a functional protein[9][13][7][5][11]. Pseudogenes like HNRNPA3P14 are genomic DNA sequences similar to known functional genes but are non-functional due to mutations, truncations, or loss of regulatory elements. HNRNPA3P14 is related to the functional gene HNRNPA3, which encodes an RNA-binding protein of the hnRNP A/B family involved in RNA processing and splicing[2][4][6]. However, HNRNPA3P14 itself does not produce a protein and has no known role as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or participant in biological functions or disease processes. There is no evidence supporting involvement in drug interactions, molecular mechanisms, disease roles, or use as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or clinically actionable target.
