Target intelligence / Profile preview
HNRNPA3P8 (heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A3 pseudogene 8) is a processed pseudogene in the human genome that is related by sequence to the functional HNRNPA3 gene. Pseudogenes do not produce functional proteins and generally do not participate directly in normal molecular, cellular, or pathological mechanisms. The parent HNRNPA3 gene encodes a protein involved in RNA binding and regulation, but HNRNPA3P8 itself does not appear to have a biological role or clinical significance as a therapeutic target or biomarker[1][3][5][7].
