Target intelligence / Profile preview
HEXIM2 antisense RNA 1 (HEXIM2-AS1) is an antisense long non-coding RNA gene located in close proximity to the HEXIM2 gene on the genome. It is annotated in several gene databases, including BioGPS and GeneCards, but its sequence, expression, and biological function remain poorly characterized. No evidence currently links HEXIM2-AS1 directly to disease states, drug interactions, or known biological pathways. No studies at present implicate HEXIM2-AS1 as a therapeutic target or as a clinically relevant biomarker[2][7].
