High mobility group nucleosomal binding domain 2 pseudogene 3 (HMGN2P3) is a human pseudogene derived from the HMGN2 gene, which is involved in chromatin structure and brain development. As a pseudogene, HMGN2P3 does not code for a functional protein, but its RNA transcript may participate in regulatory networks, such as acting as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) or a microRNA sponge, potentially modulating the expression of other genes.
