HNRNPD-DT (HNRNPD divergent transcript) is a long non-coding RNA gene found in humans. It is named for its relationship to the protein-coding gene HNRNPD but does not itself encode a protein. There is limited published information on any molecular function, clinical significance, or targetability of HNRNPD-DT. The bulk of scientific literature centers on the protein-coding gene *HNRNPD* (heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein D, also known as AUF1), which is involved in RNA metabolism, immune regulation, cancer, and other processes[3][4][1]. Any confusion may arise from the similarity in names, but *HNRNPD-DT* is not a protein or established drug target.
