Homeobox protein Hox-B4 (HOXB4) is a member of the Antp homeobox family and functions as a sequence-specific transcription factor involved in embryonic development and cell differentiation[1][2][3][4][5]. It is a key regulator in the maintenance, self-renewal, and expansion of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells.
