Dysregulation of endocrine function regulation is the hallmark of numerous clinical conditions, ranging from diabetes mellitus to autoimmune thyroid diseases and pituitary adenomas. Pharmacological interventions typically do not target 'endocrine function regulation' as a single entity; instead, they target specific receptors, such as the Insulin receptor or Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor, or enzymes involved in hormone biosynthesis (PubMed, 2022).
